Education & Background
I’m a UX, Interaction Designer, and Design Researcher with a strong foundation in Product and Communication Design, passionate about blending neuroscience, storytelling, and emerging technology into inclusive digital experiences.
My journey began in childhood, sketching in fine art school, where I would hand-draw interfaces of MS Word and Paint, recreating their layouts on paper without even knowing the term “user interface design.” Today, I look back and connect those early explorations with what I now practice professionally. That curiosity for visuals and systems sparked a lifelong interest in design as a bridge between human experience and technology.
Over the years, this passion evolved into a research-driven design practice focused on solving real-world challenges through creative, social, and cultural lenses. I hold a Diploma in Fine Arts & Crafts, a B.Des in Multimedia Communication & Design from CIT Kokrajhar, and an M.Des in Product Design from Tezpur Central University.
Education
Master of Design (M.Des) in Product Design
Tezpur Central University, India | 2022–2024
Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Multimedia Communication & Design
Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar | 2018–2022
Diploma in Fine Arts & Crafts
Assam Fine Art & Craft Society | 2011–2016
Along the way, I led a design project with the Government of BTR, Assam, where I collaborated on impactful visual strategies, narratives, and animations rooted in community engagement and regional identity.
Currently, I design data-informed, cross-platform products that emphasize accessibility, cognitive engagement, and scalability—particularly in the domain of neuroscience. I was honored to receive the IRCC Research Award at IIT Bombay for my work on an internationally recognized animation project, a milestone that reinforced my commitment to meaningful, research-led design.
